STRESS AND INSURANCE (ending)
World famous insurance company «Zurich»
Work is a major source of stress for many people. Again, while normal work pressures can stimulate performance, a stress at work can lead to serious health problems. In the UK stress study found that many factors influence stress. A job can rate low stress on autonomy, high on physical danger, financial insecurity, time constraints or legal accountability. One job that was omitted from the study was housewife and mother. Other studies have shown that housewives experience significant stress, something that will with no surprise to those who fall into that category.
Fighting stress into the workplace requires the cooperation or employee and employer. Far - sighted companies are providing exercise facilities for employees, day-care or nurseries for working mothers, drug and alcoholism counseling. More and more firms allow «job-sharing», or work at home.
Employees can protect themselves from the effect of stress. Taking a walk at lunchtime can help. Not all of us are able to take siestas, but there is sound evidence that a 10 minute to one hour nap do much to renew energy and relieve daily stress.

OK. I’ve got it! It means that insurance companies benefit directly from antistress programs! Just think about it! They are on the one side - I mean insurance company owners and psychologist – the second help the first. Psychologist and all other “ soul-theaters “ help people to overcome stress. As a result people are less nervous, and this results in fewer accidents. And fewer accidents mean less money insurance companies need to play to their clients! Wow!
I think that society may make insurance companies to pay for free antistress programs. Why? On the one hand it’s so because of “benefit-received“ principle, as these programs will save their money and increase profits. I think it’s honest and fair to share some part of this profit with those who helped to get it.
On the other hand it is also fair according to “ability-to-pay“ principle. As I know insurance business is one of the most profitable. So they have the ability to finance some antistress.
So I’ll be the first to vote for the candidate for mayor election who will present such an idea to the public (at least for New York city).

:-) You’ve got a wonderful idea for the election program. Many people will support it I think.
1.Psyhologists and those providing antistress programs, as they can get extra financing without any efforts.
2.Ordinary people who don’t like insurance companies, as they are too rich and take too much.
3.Those who will participate in cheap or free antistress programs and get benefit from them.
If I decide to be a candidate for mayor of New York I’ll contact you to help in development of my program.
